RO150mn pact inked for Dibba-Khasab road

RO150mn pact inked for Dibba-Khasab roadMuscat – The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT) has signed an agreement worth more than RO151mn for the design and implementation of the Dibba-Lima-Khasab road and a road link to Lima Niyabat in Musandam Governorate with a total length of about 70km.

The signing of the agreement was attended by H E Sultan bin Salim al Habsi, Minister of Finance and Sayyid Ibrahim bin Saeed al Busaidi, Governor of Musandam.

The project aims to stimulate the economic sectors, and is an important development engine to facilitate the movement of citizens and residents between the states of the governorate, in addition to serving the villages and population centres located on both sides of the road.
