MoCIIP unveils Accession Day sales across Oman

MoCIIP held a press conference on Tuesday to launch ‘National Campaign for Discounts and Promotional Offers’.Muscat – The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion (MoCIIP), in collaboration with Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Consumer Protection Authority, held a press conference on Tuesday to launch ‘National Campaign for Discounts and Promotional Offers’.

The campaign will start on January 11 and continue till February 11 to commemorate His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik’s fourth anniversary of accession to the throne. 

The conference was attended by Faisal bin Abdullah al Rawas, Chairman of Board of Directors of Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), and several senior MoCIIP and Consumer Protection Authority officials.

Details of the national campaign were presented at the conference to enhance partnership between the public and private sectors during the campaign period.

The campaign aims to offer products at affordable prices for all segments of society, while supporting commercial centres increase sales.

The initiative seeks to facilitate collaboration between the public and private sectors to stimulate economic growth and enhance the overall trading environment in the sultanate.
